Psalms of Refuge: What to Pray in Victory – Psalm 9
Victories are a cause for celebration! A graduation, job promotion or becoming cancer free – all reasons for joy. Dr. John points to the celebration of King David in Psalm 9 as a template for our successes. David sees God as the Victor and recognizes that there are more battles to come. Gratitude erases pride and confident hope paints the future.
