As we read Philippians and listen to the series Philippians: The Fellowship of the Gospel with Dr. John Neufeld, what becomes obvious is that unless we understand the definition of “fellowship”, we’ll miss the entire drama of the story. In the book of Philippians, Paul and the church in Philippi formed a fellowship of the gospel in order to preach Christ, form churches, and witness lives transformed in the heart of the Roman Empire. If we miss that, we miss the central purpose of Paul’s mission, and we miss our invitation to take part! So, what does it mean to centre our lives around the gospel? This 5-week series from Dr. Neufeld explores the book of Philippians in-depth, in order to discover how the gospel shapes and transforms believers in Christ.
