Easter According to the Gospel of John: The Mystery of the Cross – John 19:16-22
The cross was a Roman symbol of shame and dishonour, but by it Jesus was exalted as King of all. In the cross Christ was honoured and still reigns while the glory of Rome has long fizzled out. Behold this mystery with us.
