Hebrews 13:11-16

Everyone seeks something lasting and meaningful, but most search in the wrong places. Dr. John explains that Jesus suffered “outside the camp” to sanctify us, and calls believers to join Him there—bearing reproach and rejection from the world. He emphasizes the sobering truth that “here we have no lasting city” but we seek the city that is to come. Rather than investing in temporary earthly pursuits, Christians should offer continual praise to God and share generously with others, recognizing that only eternal things truly matter.
