Authority is a part of life. Bosses, politicians, parents, teachers, police – all have a measure of rule over us. That doesn’t mean that every authority is equal. There is a supreme authority which governs all others. Today, Dr. John reminds us that while every other rule is transitory, God establishes and governs all authority for His glory. That gives us guidance and hope as we live on this earth.
