No one gets through life without finding a measure of opposition, resistance or disagreement. We don’t have to look for it – it just comes. That is clearly true for those who believe in Jesus Christ. There are many who are opposed to Christian truth and practice. How should we respond? Dr. John points us to Romans 12:4-21 for the radical answer from God. Rather than trying to defeat enemies by overpowering them, Jesus calls us to reconciliation, forgiveness and a change of heart. In other words, we respond to others as God has responded to us.
