Every death is God’s decision. It is not simply an accident, a disease, an act of violence or the end of aging. God rules over life and death. That is true of Jesus as well. Today, Dr. John focuses on the actual death of Jesus. We are reminded that Jesus’ life was not taken – it was given. Jesus decided the moment of His death and surrendered His spirit. Not only do we praise Jesus for His sacrifice, but we can be comforted to know that every death, even our own, comes by the decision of God.
